Gilda
On April 19th, 2016, I met this beautiful girl at the Westside Animal Shelter while rescuing 7 hens. I could not stop thinking about her.
Gilda Radner aka Gilly was rescued by animal control after being tied by her foot to a bridge in Albuquerque ~ it is very common for people to abandon domesticated water foul at Tingley Beach ~ they can not survive, especially bound to a bridge.
She deserved better. On May 5, 2016, she arrived at Santuario de Karuna to spend the best of her life.
Welcome home Gilda! She loves to honk when you speak her name.
Gilly is home and safe where she will live the rest of her life being loved ❤️
Please consider sponsoring Gilda with a $10 monthly donation that helps with her food, treats, medical bills and meeting all her needs.
