Kale

We were preparing to tie dye socks to raise money for the sanctuary, I hate tie dying, but it is for the animals ❤️

Dreading the day ~ it was brought up “would you rather go rescue some goats”?  Are you kidding me?  Let’s go!

And off we went to a local dairy to rescue two male baby goats.  Horrified when we arrived ~ there were seriously at least 100!

The dairy farmer said “I will give you some time to choose”.  It didn’t matter, we needed no time ~ we each grabbed a baby and we jumped in the back of the Jeep with the boys ~ freedom ride ❤️

Male dairy goats have zero economic value ~ they are normally killed within days of being born, if not sooner.

Fast forward ~ Kale and Basil have only ever known love, they have hundreds of friends and three other brothers, Prince  Bowie & Jackson too ~ they are someone not something.
