Basil

Gotcha Date: 03/01/2015

This is what love looks like ~ we rescued Basil & his brother Kale from a dairy farm where their lives were deemed to have no value simply because they are male dairy goats. Little boys do not lactate and in that they are dairy goats, their lives normally end soon after they are born.

Male dairy goats are deemed to have zero economic value ~ they are not meat goats and will never lactate.  They are killed within days if not hours of their birth.

Basil & Kale when rescued, lived in our home and were loved and bottle fed until they were big enough to go outside.

Goats are Someone not something. Not your mother ~ not your milk ~please leave a mothers milk for her babies.

We made a promise to make the rest of their lives ~ the best of their lives ~ Basil & Kale are Someone not Something ❤

Remember ~ sponsorships & donations change lives.  We can’t do our work in this world without your financial assistance. Please consider a  donation for Basil today ❤️

Or if you are able,  sponsor Basil with a $20 monthly donation that helps with his food, treats, bedding, medical & maintenance bills and meeting all his other needs.  Thank you!
