Located on the edge of the Cibola National Forest, Santurio de Karuna is dedicated to rescuing farmed animals and providing them with the ‘best of lives for the rest of their lives’!
It’s also the base for the Inn Sanctuary, a cozy 1 bedroom suite, that’s perfect for a holiday for two! This unique suite offers 1 bedroom, sitting room & private bath, as well as, a private entrance and secluded garden. For your convenience there is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker & electric tea kettle.
You are welcome and so are your companion animals. We are also 420 friendly
A vegan breakfast is provided to our guests ~ kindly refrain from eating animal products during your stay in honor of the rescued animals residing here in sanctuary ~ Thank you. See pictures of some of the past breakfasts served!
Your suite is located on a working Vegan Farmed Animal Sanctuary. Take a tour of the sanctuary & meet the animals, hear their stories, or just find a secluded space to do yoga, read, star gaze or practice your photography.
You can also adventure out to the edge of the National Forest which offers breathtaking hiking & biking trails.
The Inn Sanctuary is just 30 miles East of Albuquerque and 70 miles south of Sante Fe! Make it your next chill holiday experience! We are close to Sandia Ski Area, the Sandia Tram, Museums, Balloon Fiesta & Tinkertown.
If you are traveling with a Uhaul or trailer ~ this is the place to stay. The property is secluded and fully fenced with easy access ~ rest easy knowing your possessions are safe and secure.
We are in a secluded area beneath the Ponderosa pines, juniper & pinon trees with no neighbors in sight. So great place to get away even just for a one night Staycation. Check in to check out!
