Jackson

Jackson & his 2 brothers Prince & Bowie (PB& Boyz) were rescued from a goat dairy selling goat cheese at our local coop on Earth Day 2016.  The owner of this dairy deemed them to have zero economic value as they are male dairy goats and will never lactate. 

They were destined to a life of only a couple days ~ they were brought to the festival to attract young children and adults to the cheese booth.  They were only two days old, no mother around, no water, no shelter in the hot sun and tons of people holding them. 

We could not ignore this and we approached the owner and told her that we would be rescuing the boys and taking them to live their life in sanctuary here at Santuario de Karuna.  We were informed that they were her “props” and that we could come back at 6pm to get them.

We quickly jumped into action securing crates to bring them to their forever home where they would only know love and care.
